Vancouver-bred, Toronto-based songwriter Octoberman took a while to put together his latest album, Waiting in the Well, as he had to recover from vocal surgery before finishing it. Now that it's finally out, he's doing everything he can to promote it, and that means releasing a music video for the track "Pool Hoppin'."
The clip plays out like an animated comic book, and it seems to have been made using still photos and then heavily illustrated and pieced together as a video. It shows a guy and a girl frolicking in a pool while another dude (possibly the girl's boyfriend) spies on them and eventually flies into a rage. It culminates in a near-murder using a TV displaying an image of Octoberman himself.
