When you've got a song called "Dogwalk," the concept for the accompanying video pretty much writes itself. Toronto-based songwriter Marc Morrissette and his project Octoberman have just rolled out a video for the song from last summer's What More What More, and it depicts exactly what you'd expect from the title.
In the clip for this sleepy, Dinosaur Jr.-esque rock tune, we see footage shot during a walk with a 12-year-old Boston terrier belonging to Morrissette's girlfriend. We watch slow-motion footage of little Benito's eccentricities, as he kicks his back legs before straining against his leash while attempting to plant himself in seemingly random places on the sidewalk. Eventually, he gets let off his leash for a romp in the snow and is swaddled in a blanket back home on the couch. Aww!
