Earlier this year, OBEY Convention revealed plans to return to Halifax for its ninth consecutive year. Before all the action goes down from May 26 to 29, though, organizers have rounded out the initial lineup and announced another set of scheduled performers.
Set to join the festival this year are now Rabit, Sarah Davachi, Belave (featuring ex-Majical Cloudz Devon Welsh and Matthew E. Duffy), Joshua Abrams, Old & Weird, Kaie Kellough, Shining Wizard, Lungbutter, XXVII, Brave Radar, Zones, Cloaked Figure, Sound of the Mountain, Wayne World, Eddy, Alienation, HHH, Carmen, Century Egg, William Robinson, Aaron Webster, Noisecad, DJ Fadzwa, and DJ Kaz_Kandy.
They join previously revealed artists like Mykki Blanco, Zs, Marie Davidson, Nadja and New Fries.
Amongst the participating local venues are the Deep Water Church, the Marquee Club, Seven Bays Bouldering, Fort Massey Church, Menz Bar, Halifax Central Library, the Khyber ICA and Cabaret Voltaire Art Bar, and more.
