Split

Get a load of the insane cover art gracing the Nunslaughter side of this split seven-inch, which features two of today's most belligerent and prolific bands. While at first it might seem odd to have underground black/grind/punks Nunslaughter back-to-back with long-running sleaze punks Antiseen, once you listen to the tunes, it makes sense. Both bands end up taking a scenic stroll through crust punk (Nunslaughter via grind, Antiseen through drunken Motörhardcore), ending up in a very Lemmy-friendly, dirty and muddy place. Nunslaughter lay down two new tracks of their usual black-infused punk/death; the fact that the two songs sound identical is nothing compared to the fact that these guys record about 200 songs every month that sound identical (and they're all good). Antiseen pick up the Lemmy worship more on their two new offerings, slowing down the tempo and adding in some drunk guy melodies in the vocals, with the overall feel being more dangerous and punk rock than the flip side deathsters. Beers in the air all around, a tossed-off four songs await here, the fun vibe betraying the fact that these groups are both kind of scary.
