Nü Sensae's Sundowning LP was one of last year's scuzziest treasures, so its no surprise the Vancouver trio keeps things just as grimy for their latest track, "Throw."
It's a slow and brooding cut full of spiralling guitar noise, crypt-keeping bass progressions and drummer Daniel Pitout's straightforward thud. Vocalist/bassist Andrea Lukic gets creepy with her opening bay, "She made a promise to show off her body," adds in lines about clothes fitting too tight, and closes with a set of discomforting shrieks.

"Throw" arrives on a split 7-inch with Suicide Squeeze labelmates the Coathangers on March 5.
