No Idea To Reissue Lifetime Albums

BY Josiah HughesPublished Feb 10, 2009

While there is very little actual information, it has been announced that Gainesville, FL DIY punk imprint No Idea Records will be reissuing Hello Bastards and Jersey's Best Dancers, two influential albums from melodic hardcore pioneers Lifetime. The albums were initially released on Jade Tree Records, and will likely see re-release sometime this year.

Lifetime had their heyday in the '90s, running strong from 1990 to '97 and inspiring an entire generation of hardcore bands to add a little pop to their punk before disbanding. The band reformed eight years later in 2005 and released a new self-titled album on Pete Wentz's Decaydence label in 2007.
