​Nile Rodgers Hospitalized, Misses Toronto Show

Nile Rodgers was hospitalized last night (August 13), forcing the guitarist to miss Chic's slated appearance at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
 
Rodger's medical ailment has not been disclosed, but the musician has since tweeted that his doctors "are taking great care of me."

He went on to note that until last night, he'd never missed a gig in his entire career, joking: "The Dr. caught me trying to sneak out."

Chic nevertheless performed at the Air Canada Centre last night, with many fans in attendance sending their wishes to Rodgers for a speedy recovery.
