While Nick Ferrio may play in Canadian rock acts like Burning Hell and Baby Eagle & the Proud Mothers, he will soon be stepping out on his own for the debut self-titled full-length from Nick Ferrio & His Feelings. The record isn't due out until September 18 via Shuffling Feet Records, but you can check out what's in store via a full album stream.
Described as an album of country music "the way it was recorded generations ago," the record comes with its fair share of song subjects, including a track that's "a cautionary, autobiographical tale of a night he wound up in a Swiss jail" and one about "a woman who killed her husband on a hunting trip in Newfoundland mistaking him for a bear."
Ian Romano recorded the album, while Dan Weston (City and Colour, Daniel Romano, Shad) mixed it.
