'Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist' Soundtrack Receives First-Ever Vinyl Reissue

The film celebrates its 15th anniversary this year

It's only fitting that, as indie sleaze nostalgia reaches a fever pitch, we revisit a film that both captures and was a product of that time period. Yes, I'm talking about the Peter Sollett-directed 2008 film adaptation of Rachel Cohn and David Levithan's novel Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist — and the soundtrack is getting its first-ever vinyl reissue in celebration of the movie's 15th anniversary.

Pressed on yellow vinyl to match the colour of Michael Cera's Yugo in the film, the soundtrack will be available on wax on April 7 via Real Gone Music. The 2LP set is housed in a "scrapbook" gatefold jacket consisting of production stills from the movie, where Cera and Kat Dennings star as two lovelorn teens trying to find a secret show by mythic indie rock band Where's Fluffy? in New York.

The soundtrack features songs from indie mainstays Vampire Weekend, Band of Horses, We Are Scientists, Devendra Banhart and more, as well as the original "Nick & Norah's Theme" by Mark Morthersbaugh of Devo. Check out the full tracklist below, and pre-order the vinyl here.
