We previously mentioned that Vancouver, BC all-star collective the New Pornographers are ready to release their fifth full-length LP, Together, on May 4. With that date looming ever larger, it was just about time for a lead-off single, and the New Pornographers heard the call.
Together with their Canadian label, Last Gang Entertainment, the band have hooked fans up with "Your Hands (Together)," which sounds as if it may be something of a title track.
While the track's press release says the song is "inspired by Black Sabbath's 'War Pigs,' ABBA's 'Waterloo' and Siouxsie and the Banshees' 'Christine,'" the song is pure New Pornos, and suffice to say, we're digging it.
