New Order are coming to North America this summer, and they just may be bringing some new songs along with them. One such track was played in Chile over the weekend, and you can check the sad-sack electro-pop song, tentatively titled "Drop the Guitar," now.
The fan-shot video was captured last night (March 30) and kicks off with a moody, old-style New Order bass line, proffered by Tom Chapman, before the gang shell out a series of dance-heavy beats, blipping sequencers and minor-key melodies from guitarist/vocalist Bernard Sumner. This being a concert clip, you also get to see a backdrop of lights, lasers and video footage.
