New Kate Bush Album to Drop in November?

After reinterpreting her old material on the fascinating Director's Cut album, Kate Bush had us excited earlier this year when she revealed plans for a new album. Now, if an EMI executive is to be believed, the release could come as early as this November.

NME points to an interview that EMI Australia chair Mark Poston did with the Star Observer, where he suggested that a new Kate Bush record was coming along nicely.

"Of course, you can never be sure with Kate Bush. She does things at her own pace," Poston said. "But we've been told to prepare for a November release."

Earlier this year, Bush spoke about the new album with BBC 6 Music, saying, "I'm working on a new record. It's all kinds of bits and pieces, really... There's always ideas buzzing around, but it's whether they actually end up materializing into a song. It's quite an elusive process."

If Bush does release a new record this year, it will mark her first album of new material since 2005's Aerial.
