There's a new Neutral Milk Hotel album, kind of, but chances are you'll be hearing the songs off the mash-up collection In My G4 Over Da Sea at a club -- or more appropriately an ironic dance party at some college kid's dorm room -- than during any of Jeff Mangum's upcoming dates.
Billed as Neutral Bling Hotel, the set does exactly what you'd imagine, cutting up Mangum's 1998 masterpiece In the Aeroplane Over the Sea with some choice hip-hop cuts. You can check out the whole thing, starting off with a blend of album opener "The King of Carrot Flowers, Pt. 1" and M.O.P.'s "Ante Up," down below.
Thanks to Chart for the heads-up.
