As if staring down a crunchy crabby patty, Pharrell and the rest of the N.E.R.D. crew got SpongeBob SquarePants fans salivating last month over the release of their tropical dance cut, "Squeeze Me." Now, the soundtrack single for the upcoming The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water has been fit with visuals shaping up N.E.R.D. to properly take part in the animated world.
As the kka-tinged arrangement bounces along in the background, we see the now square-shaped trio hopping around beaches and galaxies, and occasionally doing a jig near Patrick and SpongeBob. The video also serves as a montage of the movie proper, with the Bikini Bottom crew getting up to all sorts of mischief on the surface world. Oddly, there's a lot of muscle flexing going on.
You can catch the action down below, and can also grab the track now as part of a soundtrack EP. The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water hits North American theatres February 6.
