"Drop It" (video)

Following some bite-sized vinyl and cassette releases, scrappy Vancouver pop punk trio Needles//Pins released their debut full-length 12:34 earlier this year. The group have now made another breakthrough in their career, and have just released their first-ever video for album track "Drop It."

While the simply-stated number seemingly sums up a hopeless romantic scenario, director Nick Benidt interpreted the song title differently, flooding his clip with score of skate rats ollieing through the streets of Toronto and dropping into a halfpipe routines. When not busting tricks, the kids manoeuvre their way through a farmers market and pound a few PBRs near some ledges.
