Mint Records Is Almost Its Own Character in the Trailer for the New Hulu Show 'Woke'

The show looks pretty damn good, too

From Mission: Impossible to Riverdale, set designers have absolutely loved the output of Mint Records over the years. Today, however, the decorated Vancouver label may have had its strongest showing yet in the new trailer for the Hulu series Woke.

The show itself comes from Keith Knight and Marshall Todd and stars Lamorne Morris alongside Sasheer Zamata and Blake Anderson. It follows the life of Keef Knight, a Black cartoonist who experiences a social justice awakening after facing police brutality.

In the show's trailer, the climax takes place when Keef is staring at a bulletin board that is absolutely packed with Mint posters. You'll instantly spot the likes of Nardwuar the Human Serviette, Cub, Woolworm, Dumb, Tough Age, Jay Arner, Needles//Pins, Supermoon, Kellarissa and many others.

Watch the trailer for Woke below. The show will arrive on September 8.

Further, Mint Records is donating all of the proceeds from today's Bandcamp income to the Vancouver Black Therapy & Advocacy Fund. This includes sales of the new Tough Age album, which is out today.
