Needles//Pins Prepping LP for Mammoth Cave Recording Co.

While we're generally used to getting the goods from Vancouver punks Needles//Pins in small doses, it looks as if the trio will finally be laying down a full-length album this fall.

Following the Ramones-y "loser anthems" of their debut EP, First World Problems and their "Rabies Jump" cassingle, the group have announced they've hooked up with Lethbridge, AB imprint Mammoth Cave Recording Co. for their first full-length.

"STOKED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE ARE GOING TO BE RECORDING AN LP IN SEPTEMBER. IT WILL BE COMING OUT ON MAMMOTH CAVE RECORDING CO.!!! STAY TUNED...," the band posted today (July 15) on their Facebook page.

While there's not much to go on beyond that, the prospect of getting more snottily sung melodi-rockers from the Vancity troupe is sure to stoke the punks. We can confirm that at least one guy, Chains of Love drummer/Hard Feelings leader Al Boyle, is pretty pumped. "HELLS YA," he responded to the FB announcement. Hells ya, indeed, Mr. Boyle. Hells ya, indeed.
