Despite the waiver in the liner notes that explains the reason why the volume is so quiet is because one can hear a more dynamic range, it still doesn’t help. This is dark progressive rock at its most generic: a non-stop session of noodling that sounds like an overstuffed sardine can of manic jazz-rock. The bass and percussion duo of the Tejedor brothers is amusing to hear though, sounding as if they are fighting over toys. At times it is frighteningly evil and at others sounds like plain old school fogies hammering away. It’s old fogie emo for the hardcore sect.
