Vancouver singer-songwriter Nat Jay has released the new single "Feel Sad" along with an accompanying lyric video. It's the second release from her upcoming EP, Turns Out It's Not the End, set to release on November 17.
"Feel Sad" is about "honouring and giving space to our feelings at moments of heartbreak or struggle," Jay said in a press release.
"This song also touches on supporting others through those times and allowing them the space to express those negative feelings of sadness or anxiety or depression or hopelessness, letting them know it's okay, that you're there for them when they're down and when they're ready to get back up," the artist explained.
"Feel Sad" is the second single from Jay's upcoming EP, following "Just Kids" this past September. The singer has partnered with Romanian-Canadian pop producer Ovi for the upcoming project.
