New York indie-rockers Nada Surf dropped by Exclaim! to play a couple songs, and with the weather being so cooperative; they set up on our back porch.
The group has been around since '92 and their seasoned performance is a testament to their overall cohesiveness. Matthew Caws, Ira Elliot and touring guitarist Doug Gillard (Guided By Voices) just seem to have fun when they play, and that energy translates.
Eventually a group of Exclaim staff had gathered around to enjoy some songs off their 2012 release The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy.
You can check them out in the video above performing the song "Waiting For Something."
The camera was operated by Peter Dreimanis of Vulture Culture Films.
