My Chemical Romance Hint at Possible Return with New Video

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jul 20, 2016

It's been three long years since theatrical pop punk act My Chemical Romance announced their breakup, but there's a small chance the hiatus is over. Today, the group have teased a possible return with some social media updates.

Over on the band's official site, they've shared a new logo (viewable above and already available on a T-shirt), as well as the below video. The logo reads "MCRX."

The brief teaser clip offers a piano playing the melody of the band's "Welcome to the Black Parade" before closing with the date September 29, 2016.

While some think this video points to a full-fledged reunion, it also might just be a reissue on the way. After all, The Black Parade was released on October 23, 2006, meaning its 10 year anniversary lands this fall. That would also explain the addition of an X to the band's name.

Until more details surface, you can watch My Chemical Romance's teaser video on repeat below.
