While grimy garage rockers the Murder City Devils have toured sporadically since getting back together in 2006, the Seattle outfit haven't actually release any new music since 2001's Thelema EP. It seems that six years spent occasionally dusting off the oldies has worn thin, though, as the band have finally offered up some new material on a seven-inch.
The Devils are currently selling the "Everyday I Rise"/ "Ballbusters in the Peanut Gallery" single both as a limited-edition wax platter and digitally on their website. According to the act, they recorded the songs last summer.
Judging by the artwork above, it looks like the seven-inch's 2,000 copy press run made its way onto black, white and bubblegum pink coloured vinyl. You can order the record or digital files here.
So far the Murder City Devils only have one show line up for 2012, at Dante's in Portland, OR, on February 3.
