In the latest episode of Exclaim! TV's Aggressive Tendencies series, we feature Richmond, VA thrashers Municipal Waste.
During a recent stop at Toronto's Opera House while on tour with Napalm Death, Exclaim! TV caught up with Municipal Waste vocalist Tony Foresta and bassist Philip "Landphil" Hall. They discussed the band's latest studio album, The Fatal Feast and why they took some time off before writing the record. They also talked about the writing process for The Fatal Feast, their outer space theme and working with a number of guests, including Nuclear Assault guitarist/vocalist John Connelly, Zombi bassist Steve Moore and former Avail singer Tim Barry.
Municipal Waste's The Fatal Feast is out now via Nuclear Blast, and is the follow-up to 2009's Massive Aggressive and 2007's The Art of Partying.
Interview conducted by Denise Falzon
