Toronto hip-hop artist Muneshine released his album In Transit back in the summer, but he's pressing ahead with a new song called "Low Key."
This track with Da-P lives up to its title with swaggering drum machine syncopations, a few rapped lines, and chopped-up hooks advising us to "keep it down on the low-key." There's a dubby breakdown, and the entire arrangement is steeped in atmospheric reverb.
Muneshine said in a statement, "I met Da-P for the first time at the homie LAKIM's Toronto show a few months back, then we reconnected at the Fool's Gold party with High Klassified, A-Trak and a whole bunch of other folks. We talked about working on something together and 'Low Key' is the flame that came from that spark. Enjoy!"
