Mount Eerie is once again set to look into the deep, dark abyss of loss with his new album Now Only, and you can hear the latest effort from Phil Elverum now.
A week before its official arrival, you can stream all of Now Only over here via NPR.
Now Only follows last year's A Crow Looked at Me and comes in the wake of the death of his wife Geneviève Castrée, who succumbed to pancreatic cancer in 2016.
The album was previously described like this: "Now Only shows Phil refining the style of candid, autobiographical lyrical writing that he began using on A Crow Looked at Me, presented unencumbered by metaphor."
Now Only will arrive on March 30 through P.W. Elverum and Sun.
