Montreal R&B producer/DJ/singer Janette King is blasting off to "Mars" with her latest single, which just so happens to be the first release on the newly launched record label Hot Tramp Records.
The sultry song puts an outer space twist on a love song, with cosmic synths that set the mood for a seduction that's out of this world. An announcement explains: "Imagined though sex, longing, and lust, 'Mars' is a song about overcoming your fears in order to explore a deeper connection with someone who seems to be from a different planet than your own."
Hear "Mars" below. The song will be followed by a music video in September and a full-length album in May 2021.
Hot Tramp was founded by Montreal's Sarah Armiento, who previously launched the company as a management company in 2019. The label has worldwide distribution through Outside Music and will also release albums by Maryze and Alicia Clara in 2021.
