Modeselektor Announce North American Dates, Play Montreal

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 8, 2012

Last fall, eclectic German electronic duo Modeselektor dropped their "slightly bonkers," Thom Yorke and Busdriver-assisted third LP Monkeytown, and the group will take those tunes around North America for a brief tour this April.

The eight-date trek is bookended with California concerts, the first at San Francisco's 103 Harriet and the capper taking place at Coachella in Indio on April 22 (they also play the first Coachella weekend on April 15). Considering Radiohead are headlining the festival on April 14 and 21, it's not that much of a stretch to think that Yorke could help out his buddies onstage for a live take of "Shipwreck."

Between their Golden State appearances, the band will head eastward, including a lone Canadian show at Montreal's Metropolis on April 20. You can see the rest of the schedule down below.

Tour dates:

4/13 San Francisco, CA -103 Harriet
4/15 Indio, CA - Coachella
4/17 Brooklyn, NY - Music Hall of Williamsburg
4/18 New York, NY - Bowery Ballroom
4/19 Boston, MA - Royale NightClub
4/20 Montreal, QC - Metropolis
4/21 Chicago, IL - Metro
4/22 Indio, CA - Coachella
