On March 10, UK electro-pop act Metronomy will release their new album Love Letters via Because Music. Now, they've shared a new video for the album's title track, and announced a hefty batch of tour dates.
The "Love Letters" video was directed by beloved French filmmaker Michel Gondry, who's no stranger to the music video game. The video utilizes colourful, hand-painted cutouts, giving the band's performance a surreal feeling.
"To work with Michel was a real joy, he's a very unpretentious and easy going guy," the band's Joe Mount said in a statement. "We're all easy going guys too so the day was very easy going. The video is everything we could have hoped for, it's simple but skillful and really highlights the art of tambourine playing."
Metronomy have also announced a world tour that includes Canadian dates in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Check out the full itinerary below along with the video for "Love Letters."
