Dayve Hawk has already given us a taste of his experimentally poppy new Memory Tapes album, Grace/Confusion, with the electro epic "Sheila." Now he's dropped another track from the disc in the form of "Neighborhood Watch."
This is another long track, which is expected considering that Grace/Confusion is a 39-minute album with just six songs. This sprawling, six-minute affair begins with tuneful psych pop before shifting into more stripped-down balladry and some heavier dance passages.
Grace/Confusion is out December 4 on Carpark Records.
This song premiered at Stereogum.
