Canadian-born techno artist Mathew Jonson is set to follow up his 2010 LP Agents of Time with his new album Her Blurry Pictures next week, but Crosstown Rebels is streaming the set a week ahead of its official June 11 due date.
The album is described in a press release as both a "return to his roots" and "a new evolution in his rhythmically complex" approach to minimalist house and techno beats. It was primarily recorded in his Berlin studio, but parts of the LP date back to his time spent in Vancouver. You can dig into the simmering electro explosions of "Body in Motion," the wooziness of "Illusions of Control" and all the rest down below.
