Now that he's wrestled with, and hopefully overcome, the demons of mental health on his last album, 2007's Hospital Music, singer-songwriter Matthew Good is moving on to bigger and better things.
His latest album will be called Vancouver, in honour of the city he's inhabited for the majority of his life. Set for release on October 6 by Universal, Good has stated in recent interviews that the album addresses both the positive and negative influences in and about one of Canada's larger cities.
If you can't wait the couple of weeks until its official release to hear what Good has been up to, Exclaim! will begin streaming the entire album on our homepage starting October 6. And if you're really itching to hear the record, ten tracks are currently streaming at Good's website, where you can also pre-order it.
A new album means a new tour and this one is a doozy: almost 30 dates over the course of two months. It means Good will pretty much hit every bit of civilization between Nanaimo and Halifax, so don't get all whiney if you miss one date. Drive a couple more hours and catch him there.
