Massive Attack Set February Release For New Album
It's been seven years, but trip-hop pioneers Massive Attack are finally ready to release their follow-up full-length to 2003's 100th Window in 2010, and it's looking like a doozy. Two of the band's founding members (Robert Del Naja and Grant Marshall) have returned to the fold for the band's fifth album, titled Heligoland.

And pardon us for gushing, but just look at all the artists set to guest on the album: Damon Albarn, TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe, Hope Sandoval, Tricky counterpart Martina Topley-Bird, Elbow's Guy Garvey and Portishead's Adrian Utley. The band also collaborated with DFA's Tim Goldsworthy on a few songs.

The Adebimpe track, "Pray for Rain," and "Splitting the Atom" were both featured on the Splitting the Atom EP earlier this year.

Heligoland is due from Virgin Records on February 9.
