The Manvils to Preview New Material on Western Canadian Tour

It's only been a few months since we last reported that Vancouver's the Manvils were headed out on a cross-Canada jaunt. Now, the road warriors are getting set to head out on another tour, bringing their gritty brand of garage rock to a handful of cities in B.C. and Alberta.

The outing starts today (September 23) with a performance at Vancouver's Olio Festival. From there, they will head out to Kamloops, BC and then into Alberta, wrapping up in Edmonton on October 2.

If you manage to catch the band on the road, you're likely to be treated to some new material. The Manvils are in the process of writing the follow-up to last year's self-titled LP, so expect release information to arrive before too long.

Tour dates:

9/23 Vancouver, BC - The Lamplighter (Olio Music Festival)
9/24 Kamloops, BC - The Dirty Jersey
9/25 Calgary, AB - Hi-Fi Club
9/26 Lethbridge, AB - The Slice
9/29 Medicine Hat, AB - Hometown Acting Studio
9/30 Canmore, AB - Canmore Hotel
10/1 Bow Island, AB - The Roadhouse
10/2 Edmonton, AB - Brixx
