Mantler

Mantler is a solo project doin' what he does very well. He is very comfortable and the listener quickly picks up on this. The electric piano has a Money Mark's Keyboard Repair sound, with a melody and groove that depends less on improvisation and more on the songs' intrinsic purpose. His tenor vocals follow perfectly chill patterns; perhaps it's their background status and the hints of jazz. The programmed and live drumming both keep to the left of the spectrum, far from busy, just touching up Mantler's tasty licks. The only thing to know: Mantler plays a melodica.
