Madame Tussauds Unveils Horrendous Rihanna Wax Figure Makeover

Lily Allen?

Madame Tussauds Museum in Berlin, Germany, is known for its frightening wax statues — like the Nicki Minaj one it debuted in 2015. Just in time for the holiday season, somewhat unfortunately, its Rihanna figure got a makeover — only its resemblance to the Fenty mogul is negligible at best.

As Twitter users have been commenting online, the figure — who first appeared alongside the museum's other statues in 2011 — bears a striking resemblance, not to Rihanna (or any other Black woman for that matter), but to Lily Allen, if any human at all. With its new hairstyle, a black wig with a straight fringe, and its pale complexion, it seems the only thing the artist got right was RihRih's tattoos.

Now decked out in a sexy Santa costume, pearls and a bow in her hair, wax Rihanna's perplexing face is a glaring error where there were so many chances to do right by the singer. In Dubai, for example, the Tussaud Rihanna wax statue appears to be at least a distant cousin of the singer's, while the London figure gets some of her features right.

"Didn't know Rihanna was white," one Twitter user said of Berlin's Rih.

"I swear that is not even Rihanna spelt backwards," wrote another.

See the Berlin monstrosity — and its slightly less horrifying global counterparts for comparison — below.
