Oakland heavyweights Machine Head have announced a North American tour for next year with direct support from fellow Californian metallers Fear Factory. The Slaughter the Martøur Tour includes stops in eight Canadian cities spanning six provinces.
"Head Cases! This will be the greatest metal tour on earth!" Machine Head's Robb Flynn said in a press release. "So stoked to be getting back on the road in America/Canada with four masters of soul-crushing heaviness and an absolutely earth-shattering bill."
Kicking off January 19 in San Francisco — Machine Head's first hometown gig in the Bay Area since 2020 — the tour will begin on the West Coast, venturing across the border to perform at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom on January 23. There are two scheduled Alberta dates in Edmonton (January 25) and Calgary (January 26), as well as shows at Saskatoon's Coors Event Centre (January 27) and Winnipeg's Burton Cummings Theatre (January 28).
After dipping back into the US, the tour returns to Canada the following month for performances at Toronto's Opera House on February 5, Montreal's MTELUS on February 6 and Quebec City's Capitole Theatre on February 7. With additional support from Orbit Culture and Gates to Hell, Machine Head and Fear Factory will wrap up the run on February 24 in Los Angeles.
