Lydia Ainsworth has the second half of her Right from Real project landing later this month, but ahead of time, she's giving us a glimpse of her impending electronic pop EP with a stream of gauzy number "Hologram."
An ethereal wash of pitch-shifted choir sounds are paired with a distant, echoing snare clack earlier on in the track. Ainsworth follows this up with a two-octave duet about experiencing a "familiar feeling in this place," while highly-refined piano fingering steers the melody.
Both Pt. II and a package featuring all of Right from Real arrive September 30 through Arbutus Records.
