It's been 20 years since Toronto, ON's the Lowest of the Low released 1991 Canrock classic Shakespeare My Butt. In recent months, the group have experienced a resurgence in interest, having reissued the disc last fall via Pheromone Recordings. Now, they are getting set to hit the road for some new Canadian tour dates.
This spring, the Lowest of the Low will play a handful of dates. Most of the shows are in Ontario, with a pair of appearances in Halifax. The schedule is sporadic, with seven shows stretched out over more than a month. It's possible that their calendar will be filled out in the coming months.
Take a look at the schedule below. If you haven't listened to the Lowest of the Low since their '90s heyday, you might want to check out the Shakespeare My Butt reissue, which includes 45-minute documentary DVD LowRoads 91-08.
