Loose Logic

Logistics

Whatever happened to originality? In a sea of hip-hop artists that come a dime a dozen, you would think an MC would do everything in his or her power to try to blaze an individual trail through the cookie-cutter drivel of today's "white rapper" crowd. Unfortunately, Orange County, CA native Loose Logic fails to do so on his debut disc, Logistics, and ends up coming off as a bad gimmick. Quite simply, the material here is a hot mess. Jumping from cheesy club tracks (lead single "I-Rok") to Limp Bizkit style rap-rock ("Stage Dive") and then over to the electronica-flavoured house music turd "Party In Space," it makes one wonder if Loose Logic is the only rapper in Orange County, seeing as his press release boasts he won "The Best Urban (Rap) Artist of The Year at the 2007 Orange County Music Awards." Logistical Nightmare would have been a more fitting title for this album.
