Winnipeg's Living Hour have released a new single ahead of the upcoming release of their third LP, Someday Is Today.

Arriving on September 2 via Kanine Records/Next Door Records, the forthcoming LP will be the indie outfit's follow-up to their 2019 effort, Softer Faces.

New single "Feelings Meeting" is a grand display of booming bass chords in low yet powerful frequencies. It comes alongside an accompanying video featuring Jay Som's Melina Duterte, who also co-produced the album.

About struggling with internal strife, the track was one of the first that Sam Sarty composed on bass. "I played around with the high G string, moving with it as my own voice moved matching notes, and harmonizing with it felt so easy; a familiar register," Sarty said in a release.

The songwriter continued: "I like playing huge bass chords in this song at the chorus, it feels powerful and loud when playing live! Melina totally nailed it in making the first chorus absolutely drive itself into my bones, shaking them around and projecting the full feeling I was trying to get across in writing the song."

Duterte added: "I was so stoked on 'Feelings Meeting' because it's such a head-banger — it was more energetic and rocking than the material they've put out in the past. I had a lot of fun manipulating Sam's vocals into a synth and adding some extra harmonies and guitars."
