Winnipegs indie/emo sweethearts Lives of Many have a DIY success story on their hands with Until We Lay This to Rest. Released on their own Primer Records and supported by some pretty major distribution, this record has enough oomph to get their somewhat generic brand of emo all over Much Music. "Renoir shines because of its multiple catchy vocal hooks, while the pretty guitar on "Sleep Through the Whole Thing is ironically quite reminiscent of Armor for Sleep. Lives of Many get extra points for effort and are likely bound to play alongside Canadas other emo favorites in the future.
