The last time we heard from BC hip-hop crew Swollen Members, rapper Mad Child was complaining about this injustice. At the time, we revealed that the group also had a new album planned, Dagger Mouth, due out via Battle Axe/Suburban Noize.
Originally slated for a March release, the album will officially drop tomorrow (April 12). If you want to take a listen before forking out for the 16-track collection, give it a spin over at our Click Hear section.
According to a press release, the disc is a return to the group's classic sound. It moves away from the grittiness of 2009's Armed to the Teeth, which chronicled Mad Child's struggles with drug addiction. It showcases the "dark poetic abstract expressionism" of rapper Mad Child and Prevail, as well as the "powerful production" of Rob the Viking.
