Well folks, the golden age of television is finally coming to an end — Lil Dicky, the mega-viral comedy rapper who most recently found success with the cloyingly catchy Chris Brown collaboration "Freaky Friday," is getting his own show.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, an as-yet-untitled series is in the works at FX. The story was co-created by Dicky alongside The League creator Jeff Schaffer. The comedy will follow a man in his late 20s who becomes convinced that he will become one of the best rapper of all time.
There's some major star power attached to the project. In addition to Schaffer and Lil Dicky, the show will be produced by Scooter Braun and Kevin Hart, with Greg Mottola (Superbad) set to direct the pilot.
