Lightspeed Champion Preps Domino Debut, Gives Away Another Album For Free

BY Cam LindsayPublished Sep 7, 2007

Lightspeed Champion, aka Devonte "Dev" Hynes of dead dance/punk/metal trio Test Icicles, has just finished his debut album for Domino in Omaha with Mike Mogis, the resident engineer for Saddle Creek Records.

Falling Off The Lavender Bridge is expected to hit shops on . While that's all fine and dandy, it also means there's a wait involved. But only to hear that album. To prove he's now a serious musician, in addition to his Domino debut, Hynes has swiftly written and recorded a ten-song companion called I Wrote and Recorded This In Less Than Five Hours. And it's available right now, to download, for free.
