Legendary Providence, RI noise rock duo Lightning Bolt recently struck again with the release of their fantastic Fantasy Empire LP. Since we can't get enough of the thing, we're happy to share their new video for "The Metal East."
The video was directed by cartoonist Lale Westvind, and premiered last night (April 6) on Adult Swim. A press release says it's "almost way too bonkers to describe," but we'll try anyway.
The video sees some half-human, half-motorcycle monsters travel through a hypercolour wasteland, where they're visited by a variety of weird, constantly shapeshifting space gods. If you've ever been down with Load Records, Paper Rad or any of the Lightning Bolt members' own visual projects, you'll be down with this.
