"Heart of the Matter" (video)

The Libertines recently hit back with their first album since 2004, delivering the surprisingly solid Anthems for Doomed Youth earlier this month. Now, the group have offered up some visuals for previously shared standout track "Heart of the Matter."
 
The clip sees Pete Doherty and Carl Barât taking turns torturing versions of themselves with temptations of the booze and narcotic variety in an odd Vaudevillian booth. Members of the public pay to watch and jeer as things get increasingly theatrical. A less-than-subtle metaphor for the band's notorious past, you can see it for yourself in the player below.
