Lee Fields has returned with news of his first new album in three years. The soul music legend will share Sentimental Fool on October 28 via Daptone Records, marking his first full-length release for the storied label.
A solo-billed set of 12 songs, Sentimental Fool follows Fields' 2019 LP alongside the Expressions, It Rains Love.
The album was produced by Daptone Records founder Bosco Mann, and is previewed today by its title track which can be heard below alongside a music video from director Andrew Anderson.
Fields has also made plans to take his latest effort on tour in North America this fall, with his schedule including a pair of shows in Canada.
Days after Sentimental Fool's release, Fields will play Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom on October 30, ahead of a stop at Toronto's Danforth Music Hall on November 11.
