Le1f Preps 'Tree House' Mixtape, Heads Out on North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 22, 2013

New York rapper Le1f kicked off the year by releasing his Fly Zone mixtape and will usher out 2013 with another freelease titled Tree House. The tape drops September 10.

A press release notes that the mixtape is Le1f's third in just over a year (his Dark York dropped in the spring of 2012), but few details were let loose beyond that. While a tracklisting hasn't yet been offered up, the tape's first preview is a track called "Damn Son."

Produced by Shy Guy and featuring vocals on the hook from Rahel, the cloudy, flute- and synth-assisted banger has Le1f going hard while spitting about Egyptian cotton, chiffon and his love's aromatic bouquet. You can stream and download the track down below.

Le1f will take Tree House out on tour this fall, with the North American trip landing in Canada on October 5 at Vancouver's Celebrities nightclub. You can peruse the rest of the show info at the bottom of the page.
