Laura Marling Hits Canada on North American Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 6, 2012

British folkie Laura Marling only recently turned 22, but she's already released three albums and is quickly making her mark around the world. In the coming months, the Mumford & Sons cohort will be making a trip across the Atlantic for a number of North American shows.

The outing begins in April, when Marling links up with Andrew Bird for an opening slot on his West Coast jaunt. This leg includes a Vancouver appearance on April 10. Then, a couple months later, she will return to these shores for gigs in Montreal and Toronto on June 16 and 17, respectively. See the schedule below.

Meanwhile, Ribbon Music will be reissuing Marling's first two albums -- 2008's Alas, I Cannot Swim and 2010's I Speak Because I Can -- on CD and heavyweight vinyl. They will be out on March 13, and you can pre-order them here.
