Folksy genre-crossers Language Arts just released a video for their track "Old Familiar," and it's appropriate that it looks both old and a little familiar.
The nostalgia-inducing vintage visuals were edited together by Brendan George Ko using scratchy-looking Super 8 home movie footage. There's not much of a narrative in the clip, but we see a family enjoying various scenes of domestic bliss and outdoor exploration. These shots are given a poignant tone thanks to the plaintive, climactic chamber-folk ballad.
